Lamb cooked slowly in the oven served with aromatic rice, dried fruit and yogurt on the side.
In Arabic, the word, Mehche, literally means “stuffing”, and it’s found in all Arab countries such as Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Jordan. The dish of big gatherings, it was used to feed a large number of people, stuffed with oriental rice the chicken, the lamb or even the camel is slow cooked all together for long period of time. A dish of all Lebanese hollidays.
